Glory and Honor to You Lord Jesus for Your Gift of Salvation!

We give thanks Lord Jesus for the Cross and Your RESURRECTION!

We give thanks Lord Jesus for the Cross and Your Resurrection! “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—”
Ephesians 2:8 NIV

I grew up as a Catholic, and I didn’t know that Jesus gave me the gift of salvation without any strings attached.  A gift that I didn’t earn and didn’t deserve.  All I had to do was say. “Lord God, I am so sorry for my sins, and I ask that you forgive me.  I want you to be Lord of My Life, and I want you to be with me all the days of my life and into Eternity in Heaven."

I now know that once I gave my life to God through believing in Jesus’ death and resurrection, my old life was dead, and I had a new life in Him.  The Holy Spirit lives within me and directs my thoughts and actions helping me to come closer to the life that God dreamed for me long before I was ever created in my Mother’s womb.  

Our salvation is the first step in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.  The process of sanctification is ongoing, and I often fall short of what God expects of me.  I ask for forgiveness, pick up the pieces, accept His grace, and move on. It is a conscious journey of love and grace with Jesus always beside me as I struggle through life’s ups and downs.

Oh Lord, I so love you and am so grateful that you give me GRACE whenever I need it.  That your love is unfailing.  That you are always with me.  Please guide me to be just a little bit more like you each day. In Jesus’ name I pray."  Amen
